Anima Theatre Company is a group of theatre-makers, often non-actors, focused on the faltering line between fact and fiction. Working in the realms of experimental theatre and new writing, we came together through our mutual interest in inclusive theatre and giving voice to those who struggle to be heard.
Our most recent work, The Sleeper (Theatre 503, Edinburgh Festival 2017, The Rosemary Branch Theatre, The Space and Brighton Fringe 2018) is a minimal portrait of a woman struggling to find refuge, which questions what stories we tell each other and how we choose to tell them.
In each project we undertake, our aim is to promote cross-collaboration, conversation and connection while bringing new ideas and new audiences to theatre.
